Sighted at a bus stop on a major road on a cold, rainy day: Eucalyptus Camaldulensis, the river red gum. It is nowhere near any river I can think of but glorious nevertheless.

I thought so too! I have no idea what the woman standing beside me thought when I stopped knitting my sock and took pictures of the trees… but maybe she’s a tree lover too, or simply grateful for entertainment at a chilly bus stop.
