Plant dyed fabrics

These are the results of my last day of dyeing, dried and ironed and ready for use.  Some have already gone to new happy homes and the one at top right has become a pocket!

Hi. Curious about the process for the spotty one. And the red leaves bottom left- great definition- what are they? I seem to be stuck with pale pale prints unless I use iron water, in which case they go black!

    • Hi Marg, the spots are eucalyptus leaves (the red parts) and the circles are created by clamping jam jar lids over folded fabric. The brown is from walnut hulls. And the red leaves are also eucalyptus. You do need to find the right trees though!
